Panax Notoginseng extract: Concentrating notogensinosides that were documented to promote both stem cell proliferation in the bone marrow and stem cell mobilization from the bone marrow.

StemAloe: A unique extract of Aloe that was documented to increase the number of circulating stem cells.

b-Glucan: Complex carbohydrates documented to support various aspects of immune functions. b-Glucan was documented to protect and support the bone marrow, to trigger the mobilization of stem cells from the bone marrow and support the migration of stem cells out of the blood into tissues. STEMREGEN® uses a source of b-Glucan that contains 85% 1-3 glycosidic bonds, which is the most potent form of b-Glucan.

No, STEMREGEN® will not deplete the bone marrow. The bone marrow constantly produces stem cells for the entire life of an individual. Stem cells in the bone marrow are immortal.

A 60-100% increase in the number of circulating stem cells is well within the physiological range and does not constitute stress on the bone marrow. The amount of active bone marrow amounts to about 2,600 g (5.7 lbs), with about 1.5 trillion marrow cells, of which roughly 150 million are stem cells. A 100% increase in the number of circulating stem cells corresponds to approximately 8-14 million cells, which is a small portion of the stem cells present in the bone marrow. Stem cells that do not reach any tissue return to the bone marrow.

Stem cells released from the bone marrow have not been associated with tumor formation or growth. Taking STEMREGEN® will not support tumor growth.  In fact, many of the ingredients contained in STEMREGEN® have been documented to have anticancer properties.  This being said, STEMREGEN® is not promoted to mitigate or treat cancer.

This is a difficult question to answer, as it depends upon a myriad of factors, namely the nature of the problem, whether it is an injury or an on-going degenerative problem, the overall health condition of a person, the state of systemic inflammation and oxidative stress, and various lifestyle factors like smoking, diet, stress that can all influence the role of stem cells in the body.

While some people have experienced benefits within days, other began experiencing benefits after nearly one year. This being said, on average, it is common to begin seeing at least some level of benefits within 1-3 months of consumption.

It is also important to mention that stem cells will primarily migrate into tissues signaling for repair, and these may not necessarily be where you want to experience benefits. For example, you may seek benefits with a problem affecting your knee, but stem cells may initially travel to your brain, lung and heart before going to your knee. One thing is certain, stem cells are your repair system, therefore if you put more stem cells in circulation these stem cells will participate to tissue repair and will somehow contribute to a greater level of wellness.

Why does the label say for people on anticoagulants to consult their physician prior to taking STEMREGEN® and what information does their physician need?The issue pertains to the anticoagulant medications that are blockers of vitamin K, namely Coumadin™ or Warfarin. People on Warfarin are usually advised by their prescribing physician to pay attention to the amount of vitamin K in their diet. Like many green foods STEMREGEN® contains naturally occurring vitamin K. So, taking STEMREGEN® would be just like eating a food with vitamin K like broccoli or spinach. The Recommended Daily Allowance of vitamin K is 80 mcgs. Just let the physician know that 2 capsules of STEMREGEN® have approximately 12 mcgs of vitamin K, which is roughly 15% of the RDA of vitamin K. As a comparison to other foods, one cup of raw broccoli has about 110% of the RDA (or 88 mcg) of vitamin K. A cup of fresh spinach has about 555% of the RDA (or 444 mcgs) of vitamin K.

Aside from its content in vitamin K, ingredients in STEMREGEN® have also been documented to have anticoagulant properties. Therefore, overall there is rarely an interaction with anticoagulant prescriptions, but it remains something important to share with your doctor.

As for medications other than anticoagulants, there are no known interactions or contraindications except for a possible theoretical interaction with anti-depressant medications. STEMREGEN® contains a naturally occurring nutrient known as PEA (phenylethylamine), also present in chocolate. PEA is naturally produced by the brain and known in the literature to support mood and mental energy. PEA is a natural compound made by the brain whenever one feels content and happy; it has been described as “the molecule of joy”. STEMREGEN® contains approximately 5 mg of PEA per dose of STEMREGEN®. One study has suggested that PEA could possibly interact with antidepressant medications. STEMREGEN® also contains a sea buckthorn extract that has been documented to have anti-stress and mood elevating properties. Many people taking STEMREGEN® report mood elevation and a sense of wellbeing.  For this reason, people using antidepressant medication should consult their healthcare practitioner. PEA has also been suggested to be contraindicated in cases of bipolar disorders, although no cases of negative interactions have been documented.
